Presentation of the Tara Stainless & Engineering Perpetual Trophy. Enjoy watching participants compete in the ancient art of cutting grass with a scythe - the first stage of haymaking. |
| Traditional Horse Mowing by the Irish Vintage Society: See how hay was saved using horse drawn mowers and turners. Follow the action as the men cock the hay and eventually move the hay to the haggard where the hayrick will be reconstructed. Participate in the ancient art of súgán (hay rope) making. |
