    The High Nellie Returns Fri 8th June 2007 -

    map  High Nellie- Traditional Hay Festival Launch- B-B-Q- Ceol 7 Craic. Meet at Jack Quinn’s lounge at 7.00PM.(Located 2 miles on the Dublin Rd. from Trim). Join us on a fun and historically informative Cycle past Dean Swift’s Church to the Heritage town of Trim past the ‘Braveheart’Castle.Refreshments in Marcies an old pub on the river Boyne.On yer bike again to Jack’s for the Traditional Haymaking Festival Launch,the big Charity Bar-B-Q & a night of Traditional Music by Trim CCE,& Set-Dancing at the crossroads dance ‘til late.

    Period Dress. Prizes for the best turned out character(male & female).

     So oil yer oul bike,pump the wheels & join us.Cheaper & more fun than the Bloomsday cycle. We even have bikes for those who might not have a working ‘Nellie’ at present.

    A Great Family Evening.        Only 30 mins. From Blanchardstown(by car).
